Website Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 31, 2026

Scope and accountability

This policy explains how Ginga Technology Solutions collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information through this website, business communications, consultation bookings, support interactions, and SMS services. We are responsible for personal information under our control and have designated a Privacy Officer to answer questions and handle requests.

Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us and may include:

  • Contact and business information you provide, such as your name, organization, email address, telephone number, and the content of an inquiry
  • Booking details you choose to submit through Microsoft Bookings after following a booking link
  • Support, account, and service communications, including SMS content, delivery status, dates, and times
  • Limited technical records created by our hosting and security infrastructure, such as IP address, browser or device type, requested page, timestamp, and security events
  • We do not ask you to send payment-card numbers, government identifiers, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through the public website or SMS

Cookies and browser storage

This website uses essential local browser storage to remember your privacy choice. Essential hosting and security logs are processed on the server and are not advertising profiles. With your permission, Google Analytics may use first-party identifiers such as _ga to measure page views, interactions, device and browser details, and approximate geographic region so we can understand and improve the website.

Google Analytics is blocked and sends no data until you select Allow analytics. Personalized advertising, Google Ads remarketing, and social-media tracking pixels are not enabled. You can accept, refuse, or later withdraw analytics consent through Privacy choices in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future Analytics collection from that browser and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies.

How we use personal information

We use personal information only for identified and reasonable business purposes, including:

  • Responding to inquiries, scheduling consultations, providing support, and delivering requested services
  • Operating, securing, troubleshooting, and improving our website and technology systems
  • Sending service alerts, appointment reminders, ticket updates, and account communications
  • Sending promotional electronic messages only where permitted by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation and honouring unsubscribe requests
  • Meeting legal, regulatory, contractual, fraud-prevention, and carrier requirements

Consent and your choices

We seek meaningful consent appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and the reasonable expectations of the interaction. You may withhold or withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, although this may limit services that depend on the information.

You may unsubscribe from commercial electronic messages using the unsubscribe method provided. For SMS, reply STOP to stop messages or HELP for assistance. Service and transactional messages may still be sent when legally permitted and necessary to provide a requested service.

Service providers, external links, and processing locations

We use service providers for functions such as website hosting, security, optional website analytics, communications, and appointment booking. Our website is hosted on Vercel infrastructure. If you consent to Analytics, Google processes website measurement data under its own terms and privacy safeguards. Microsoft processes information you submit through Microsoft Bookings under its own privacy terms. External websites linked from our site control their own collection practices.

Personal information may be processed or stored outside Ontario or Canada and may therefore be accessible to courts, law-enforcement, or regulators under the laws of those jurisdictions. We require service providers to protect information appropriately for their role and disclose only what is reasonably necessary.

Retention, safeguards, and privacy incidents

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably required for the identified purpose, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, and legitimate business records, then securely delete or anonymize it. Retention periods vary by record type and relationship.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity of the information. No internet or SMS transmission is completely secure. We assess privacy incidents and provide notifications or reports when required by applicable law.

Access, correction, and complaints

You may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity and may apply lawful exceptions. Contact our Privacy Officer at support@gingatech.solutions, 613-216-9140 ext. 101, or 151 Main Street East, Unit 120, Hawkesbury, Ontario K6A 1A1, Canada.

If we do not resolve your concern, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
